These specially chosen Cryo pre amp upgrades kits are designed to give what many Marshall owners have wanted for years, Smooth warm crunch with rich harmonics and detail .
We have chosen a valve that which gives as close to the classic Mullard 3d midrange tone and smooth even crunch as is possible. We then select these and supply these in special sets for Marshall Owners.

From Clapton's fierce bluesbreaker solos with John Mayall, to the powerhouse slam of Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin to Steve Jones awesome sound with his JCM800.
These Cryo Kits are designed by using specially selected valves and put together to enable you to get the best out of your particular amplifier. These are the closest approach to the original sound.
Gain reduction 40% Late Break up
The Harma Low Gain Harma ECC81 STR Cryo preamp upgrade kit is designed to clean up your sound and give your amplifier the maximum clean headroom and late break up.
By using an ECC81 in place of a 12AX7 in V1 first gain position you will lower the gain of a pre amp circuit by around 40%. This low gain results in the greater clean headroom and gives you more extended clean headroom before breakup. It is also a great way to achieve a cleaner tone and reduce the fizz on overdrive.
The Harma ECC81 & ECC83 STR Cryo have been chosen as they provide the most neutral and balanced sound. They provide exceptional note clarity with improved definition in clean mode. The cryogenic process also removes any hint of harshness from the valves tone and gives the valve far better imaging with more focus and bite.
This valve set up has been very popular with guitarists that want a cleaner amplifier sound. The ECC81 adds more clarity and removes the fizz and mush that many players have problems with. This valve produces a warm rounded clean sound with low gain which will clean up and tame the harshest sounding pre amps.
This kit is for Marshall that use 4 ECC83/12AX7 In the pre amp section

1 Specially Selected & Balanced Harma ECC83 STR Cryo for V4
