Sylvania Electric Products Inc. based in Emporium, Pa was an American manufacturer electrical equipment and vacuum tubes In 1942 the company changed its name to Sylvania Electric Products Inc. In the early 1980s was Sylvania sold to Philips and the Philips ECG valves were produced in the Emporium plant until it closed
These are the American made Sylvania special quality 6C4WA/CV4058 made for military contract.The WA designation was given to this valve as it was improved over the 6C4W to meet extended use and give increase durability for military use.
These valves give exceptional sound quality and long life in demand situations such as in Ampeg SVT or old Hammonds. These valves were designed to can handle a war zone so they will not be troubled by the hard life on the road.
This valves is also an excellent upgrade in any circuit that uses an EC90 or 6C4.
