Special Matched PairsThe Sovtek 12AX7LPS the first choice of many audio customers & manufactures as it is renowned for its warm vintage valve sound which rivals the long plate Mullard and Philips valves from the late 1950s. This valve is an audio gem as it provides all the audio requirements of detail clarify and warmth.
These are specially selected for audio and are available in balanced matched Pairs. The valves are matched on driven dB gain for high end audio circuits with each triode section having the same measured output. Ideal in Phono stages or driver positions.
12AX7LPS Sovtek has a long 17 mm plate with a spiral filament which allows use with AC connected heaters. This valve is a medium to high gain double triode with long structure anode plates and was designed to give a superbly vintage valve sound. Warm detailed midband with excellent and clear top end and well balanced overall sound is the reason that this valve is first choice in many audio amplifiers.
