Psvane Audio is a brand name owned by a private group of audiophiles that manufacture valves in China. Members of this private group worked for Shuguang and they were the key R&D personnel for the hugely popular black bottle Shuguang Treasure series.

Psvane aim is to be a premier Audio brand and the valves are made to extremely high standards. Watford Valves then screen, test and match them ourselves from factory matched items with each valve having it own test certificate. This insures that you'll receive only the best quality item
The 845 B Psvane Classic Series is a remake of the vintage Amperex brass base 845.It has a high purity carbon graphite plate and the vintage style bronze base.

Psvane has made a number of improvements over the standard 845.

The Psvane 845B eliminates the mica bridge which braces the plate structure against the top of glass envelop by having strong posts that are anchored in the valve base and run up on both sides. This prevents the plate structure from movement and rattles and more importantly prevents internal vibration, which is the key to why this valve sounds so much better than the standard 845.

845B is direct-heated type thorium tungsten cathode triode which has a special leaded anode for more consistent operating temperature.

Psvane have increased the distance by 35mm between anode and grid leading wires which improve the insulation and reduces the medium loss of stem glass .This prevents the issue of stem blown and air leak from stem that older items suffered from.

The Psvane 845B has a special base made of Bronze also improves the valve heat dissipation.

These 845B have 1250v plate rating with max anode current rating of 120 m/A .

The Psvane Factory Selected 845B then undergoes our In house testing and matching.

At Watford Valves each Psvane 845B that you purchase from us is then specially selected from factory matched items and individually tested by us for conformity. Once they pass these multi tests they are then dual matched by us on anode current and g/M.

Each Psvane 845B comes with its own individual serial number and test certificate. This insures that you will receive only the best quality Psvane 845B for you audio enjoyment.
