The EABC80 was specifically designed for use in the detector stage of early FM and FM/AM radios and is a triple diode triode. The triode and two diodes share a common cathode but one diode has a separate cathode.

This is the original Hungarian Tungsram EABC80 which is a very high quality item that was more popular than the Mullard item with our radio restorers.
