RFT stands for Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik - a group of state-owned technology companies in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). This company produced valves for Telefunken and Siemens and made the famous Siemens EL34. These valves are of very good quality and have excellent consistency.
The EABC80 was specifically designed for use in the detector stage of early FM and FM/AM radios and is a triple diode triode. The triode and two diodes share a common cathode but one diode has a separate cathode.Very rare RFT item made in East German and commonly rebranded and marketed by Siemens and Brimar as their own brand names due to its exceptional quality
