Special OfferThe Classic Harma Retro full upgrade kit is specially selected for Marshall DSL5. These Classic Marshall kits are designed to provide the classic British Rock sound. It is an effective upgrade over the stock valves as it delivers more midrange warmth for a fatter fuller sound. This is done by using valves that are traditionally voiced in combination with a 12BH7A Retro which is specially chosen for its overdriven characteristics.
The Harma ECC83 Retro is a true sounding recreation of the famous Mullard ECC83.This valve produces the warm detail and harmonically rich midrange that made the Mullard sound so famous. The valve has been designed to give a smooth harmonic slope which gives a warm crunch in guitar amplifiers without the high end fizz. This valve provides a smooth warm and punchy midrange with excellent clarity and tight fat punchy lows. The valves overdriven characteristics provide a warm sustaining sound with plenty of upper harmonics.
The Harma 12BH7A Retro has a bass response which is both tight and musical with plenty of low end. The treble response is very well balanced with plenty of bite in the upper frequencies. The valve also displays a warm crunchy overdrive when pushed.
This valve has a traditional British voiced sound that has a warm sustaining sound when overdriven. The outstanding feature of this valve is its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.
The valves distorted characteristics perfectly complement the warmth of the Harma Retro in pre amp and captures that fat vintage sound with a clear bottom end.
