Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.

This is a limited edition upgrade kit that includes Original matched pair of German made Telefunken PCF80. According to our studio clients feedback this is the best output valve for this unit and the most requested valve type for us to find and now finally we have found a small stock of this rare item.
The Siemens 5654W are the sought after black plate version with round O getter which many customers have told us that they feel is the best version due to the way it distorts as it supplies more crunch and punch from the distortion settings. The sound is transparent and very dynamic with a clear deep bass response. When the valve distorts it provides a more aggressive and very upfront sound especially when used in the pentode setting as they add a unique crunchy valve driven harmonic distortion.
The Telefunken PCF80 allows the full character of the unit to come thought the speakers.
The distortion is both clearer and fuller with more body. It has taken us many years to find these and each one was selected and tested by me before purchase. So you will get a handpick matched pair of special quality Telefunken PCF80 for the output stage
