RCA / 5Y3GT-RCA BLACK PLATE

One of the most famous American Valve manufactures of all time. RCA was responsible for designing and manufacturing many important valves such is the 6V6GT, 6L6GC, 7027a and the super EL84 known as 7189.
RCA also pioneered many advances in manufacture such as the black plate coating and had a hand in helping GEC make the famous KT66.
Original USA made RCA 5Y3GT rectifier that was standard in many USA guitar amplifiers. These have a black base and tall black anode plate with later style modern RCA logo on the base with bottom D getter.
They have become very sought after due to excellent build and sound quality. In the Fender and Mesa amplifiers these have great headroom so this is the valve if you like that big clean sound.
