The Haltron brand was part of the British company Hall Electric company that distributed valves and components in the UK.

They tended to buy stock from all European factories as well as Japan. They had a contract to supply the ministry of defence and so had had test facilities to supply to MOD standard.
The 6CH6 EL821 was used as the audio output valve in the Pye marine receiver AP100339 that was used by British navy. The CV4055 is a special quality version of this output valve that was used in the video output amplifier used to drive TV and radar.

The CV4055 was designed for extended life and is higher quality than the CV2127 and the commercial 6CH6 EL821.These are made in England by Brimar but branded Haltron CV4055 and have the early black anode plate. Brimar item pictured for reference

More recently we have been told that designs have been made using 6CH6 to make an Audio amplifier with great results.
