Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.
Thermionic Culture Earlybird 2 Two channel Mic pre Harma ECC83 STR Full revalve kit consists of a set of 4 selected valves to provide the excellent sonic and audio performance without paying the premium for new old stock valves.Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.
The Harma STR valves are specially selected for this unit and undergo rigorous selection and quality control and are supplied in matched pair
The Harma ECC83 STR features an internally rugged construction with thick mica supports. This has a number of advantages such as reduced microphonics and better isolation from vibration.
The Harma ECC83 STR is used as it provides one of the most clean and neutral sounds out of all the current production ECC83/12AX7 types. We use these valves as they offer outstanding performance in this unit.
