Pedal Power 3 is Voodoo Lab new lightweight, high current and international voltage power supply.It has 8 isolated DC outputs each delivering 500 mA which will easily run modern high current DSP effects.
The Pedal Power 2 Plus has been my go to power supply so why upgrade?
The Pedal Power 3 replaces the 2 two plus toroidal transformer with a Hybrid DC transformer that gives noise free linear operation and improved sound quality from your effects
*The 3 is smaller and lighter measuring 127 x 86 x 38 mm with a weight of just 0.4 kg. This will allow mounting the Pedal Power 3 under your pedal board freeing up vital board space on top.
* Universal Voltage, the Pedal Power 3 auto accepts International input voltages (100 to 240v)
So you can take you board abroad and just plug in and play
*500mA on 8 DC outputs Modern digital pedals are power hungry and my 2 plus can only deliver 250 mA on two outputs. The 3 is more flexible with 6 x 9V, 2 x Switchable 9V/12V.
*18V and 24V pedals can be powered by combining outputs with an optional voltage doubler cable or adapter. So even if you have a number of Strymon effects the pedal power 3 can handle them.
* Pedal Power 3 features two X LINK ports for adding isolated outputs with X LINK cable. Simply connect Pedal Power X4 and X8 units to add up to 16 isolated outputs. So Pedal Power 3 can grow as your pedalboard grows.
