Our Fender full revalve kits are put together after a life time of using and comparing the performance of valves in these amplifiers. The kits offer the best options drawn from original new old stock USA made valves and their modern counterparts. They are designed and put together to provide improved sonic and tonal definition with more clarity out of these legendary amplifiers. Each preamp kit is specially selected for low noise, uniform gain and tonal characteristic. All output valves have been burst tested and matched on anode current and gain.
The Classic Harma EL84 Retro full upgrade kit and is designed to give you vintage warmth combined with a tight driving rock sound with plenty of rich sustain.The Harma ECC83 Retros provide harmonically rich 3D midrange warmth that produces a huge sustaining tone when overdriven. The outstanding feature of this valve is it smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.
The EL84 Retro has a deep well defined tight bass that produces the classic slam of the Mullard in the bottom end. The midrange performance has been tweaked to provide warm clear detail at low volumes with clear articulation and smooth even distortion when the amplifier is cranked.
This gives the amp a punchier sound with that warm midrange response with classic top end crunch
