Our Vox full upgrade Kits are designed to get your Vox sounding as you want it, like a Vintage Vox. Our Classic Retro kits have been our most popular as many owners have found that by upgrading the stock valves that they have improved the sound of their amplifier. So whether you are a seasoned professional or playing for pleasure our upgrade kits will give you the sound you are looking for.
Our Harma upgrade kits consist of a specially selected set of Harma ECC83 STR preamp valves combined with selected Harma ECC82 STR output valve. All preamp valves in our kits are specially drive tested. Our Harma STR full upgrade kit is designed to give you the best clean sound with the maximum headroom and that warm musical Vox chime.
The Harma ECC83 STR is used for its the sparkling clean sounds and its very transparent midrange. The ECC82 STR produces the maximum clean headroom. It provides a deep clear bass response, clear mids and smooth highs. When pushed into distortion the valve produces a rich warm overdrive sound.
