Special Offer 10% DiscountOur JJ revalve kits consist of specially selected set of JJ preamp valves combined with selected and matched set JJ output valves for the Marshall VBA 400 bass amplifier.
All preamp valves in our kits are specially selected with all output valves are burnt in dual matched on current and output gain.
JJ valves a renowned around the world for their sound quality. They produce a smooth clear high end with a clean and clear treble. The midrange is full and well balanced with a tight and well defined bass end. The JJ produces a warm overdrive with a little compression and no harshness.
The JJ KT88 offers a smoother more refined sound when compared to the JJ 6550. This really works well for funk or slap bassist that require less snap with a more rounded top end
The low end bass response is deeper and slightly fatter than the 6550. So the KT88 is valve will produce all the Hard rock bass sounds and is excellent on the 5 String bass or a detuned bass due to it superb low end clarity. The JJ is also very well constructed with large anode plates and thick grade glass. The Marshall puts out a lot of low end and these KT88 did not show any mechanical rattles after extensive gigging, so can be fully recommended.
The set consists of 12 valves
3 Specially Selected ECC83S JJ for V1, V2, & V4
1 Specially Selected ECC82 JJ in V3
8 Selected and matched KT88 JJ in a matched Octet.
