If fitting to amplifiers that use valve covers then the covers will need to be removed.
We do not recommend using valve dampers on power valve such as EL84 or using dampers at temperatures above 200C rating.
The silicone valve damping rings will reduce microphony and tube rattle and are ideal for Audio applications.
Our Recommendation is to fit two rings per valve one at the top and one at the bottom.
