Siemens are a huge German owned manufacturer that has made and developed some of the worlds best vacuum tubes.

Siemens have made some of the best sounding audio valves that have become highly sought after for their sound and build quality.
Siemens EF86 with the solid pimple screen anode and date from the mid 1980'sThese are very low noise and provide higher gain than many other nos EF86. So they can provide early break up and low microphonics when used in guitar amplifier circuits.
Superbly constructed the Siemens EF86 valve is very well balanced with superb image and detail. This valve is equally at home in high end audio preamps, Power amps or in vintage guitar amps. These I have always found excellent in Quad Amplifiers and in Vox AC30.
