VHT amplifiers have been around for 20 years and are best known for it's boutique range of amplifiers. Many of their designs are based on classic American amplifiers and British amplifiers of the past. In recent years VHT have made a range of hardwired amplifiers in China which are easy to modify as they have used traditional turret board. Here we have some excellent upgrades to help you to customise your sound
Our Harma ECC83 STR & TAD 6V6GT STR full upgrade is designed to give great rock sound with plenty of clarity in clean mode with crunchy overdrive sound with early break-up of the output section when you want to Rock.

The Harma ECC83 -STR is used to maintain the amps sparkling clean sounds. The mid-range is clean and transparent which removes the mush from the sound when the amplifier is overdriven. The valve responds very well to pedals and crunches up with a fat well balanced tone.

TAD 6V6GT-STR, when used clean produced a clear top end with a warm fat midrange and a tight bass response. Hit the overdrive and gain settings and plug in the Les Paul and you find Rock heaven. This valve has a really touch sensitive response and it captures the classic rock sound in a nutshell. This is a very easy valve to overdrive so a little care will be needed with your settings if you wanted a clean boarding crunch sound.
