Victory Amplifiers are made in England, where they are designed and built by a team of engineers and traditional craftsmen. The man behind Victory Amplifiers and head designer is Martin Kidd who is well known in British amplification circles as he was head designer at Cornford Amplifiers.

The Classic 6L6GC Retro full revalve kit is designed for those who want a clean and articulate top end tone with a punchy grind when overdriven.The Harma ECC83 Retro is a true sounding recreation of the famous Mullard ECC83.The outstanding feature of this valve is that when it is overdriven it provides a warm sustaining sound with plenty of upper harmonics with an excellent 3 dimensional midrange response.
The Harma 6L6GC Retro is designed to break up later than many 6L6GC on the market in order to give that big Fender style clean sound. The valve produces an even and rich soundstage without sounding muddy under full distortion. The treble is clear and smooth and has a nice chime. It is close to the old USA made Philips Sylvania sound. When overdriven the valve produces a warn fat sustain but due to its extended treble response it cuts through the mix and is ideal for that modern high gain sound.
This kit provides all the sounds from classic clean tone, crunch to High gain modern rock.
It will cut through the mix when distorted but you will also get all the vintage clean sounds at your fingertips when you clean up. This is one of the best 6L6GC choices for this amplifier and it will suit the player who wants maximum versatility from his amplifier
