The Harma ECC83 Retros main feature is its smooth linear midrange and extended low frequency response so you get smooth warm mids with tight fat punchy lows. The Harma Retro when used in conjunction with the extensive tonal shaping of the Mesa provides the full range of modern clean sound right through to a big warm and rounded bass sound.
The Harma Retro also removes the brittle top end characteristic by fatten and smoothing out the high end frequencies thus providing a warmer and clearer top end with more bass extension and clarity.
This set will suit the player who wants to get more of a vintage valve sound with enhanced midrange warmth.
