Thermionic Culture Ltd. was formed in England in 1998 by Vic Keary and Jon Bailes to manufacture state of the art valve studio equipment.
Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.

Thermionic Culture the Phoenix SB revalve kit consists of a set of 6 selected valves to provide the best sonic and audio performance from this legendary valve compressor.
We use a gain selected and matched set of high grade original Mullard valves throughout in this kit. In the input stage we use a matched pair of Mullard PCC85 and a matched pair of the military Mullard ECC81 CV4024 in the output stage.
This set is offers a the great combination of Mullard sonic clarity and sound quality
