Thermionic Culture Ltd. was formed in England in 1998 by Vic Keary and Jon Bailes to manufacture state of the art valve studio equipment.
Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.
The Nightingale 2 is a 2 channel microphone amplifier, equaliser and also a mono compressor.Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.
This full revalve kit consists of a set of 5 selected valves to provide the best sonic and audio performance from this legendary piece of studio equipment.
In the preamp section we use two American made General Electric 7247 which is a premium 12DW7. In the compressor section we include a high grade Siemens ECC85 and military grade 5965 and 6AL5
