RFT stands for Rundfunk- und Fernmelde-Technik - a group of state-owned technology companies in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). This company produced valves for Telefunken and Siemens and made the famous Siemens EL34. These valves are of very good quality and have excellent consistency.
RFT EF85 variable amplifier pentode that was used in many valve radio sets.These are original German made RFT valves with the early WF logo. These are Factory selected with factory red test mark on the valve.
These are one of the best EF85 that we have come across as they have excellent sound characteristics. They come in the original RFT WF box
