The Tung-sol reissue valves are produced by the Sovtek Corporation to high standards at their reflector plant. These are recreations of some of the most popular Audio and guitar valves and they also produce some original designs under the Tung Sol name such as the KT120.
These valve are used by original equipment manufactures the work over for their sound quality and reliability.
The Tung Sol ECC81 12AT7 Re-issue is superbly made item that provides low noise and low microphonics. It provides a warm and well balanced sound and so is suitable for Audio as well as guitar amplifier applicationsThe 12AT7 Tung sol is a short plate design with a 22mm glass envelope to help reduce microphonics so is great for phase inverters and reverb drivers.
We offer two options:
1) Factory tested
2) Balanced -matched triode sections for Phase splitter, Audio & Tube microphones
All Balanced preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition have passed the following tests:
Gain (db) Drive Tested
Transconductance (gm) Drive Tested
Output Drive Tested
Noise 1 (signal to noise)
Noise 2 (Aural)
Microphonics Test 1(Ambient)
Microphonic Test 2 (Shock)
Cathode Test
Grid Leakage Test
