Telefunken was a German radio and television apparatus company, founded in Berlin in 1903, as a joint venture of Siemens & Halske and the Allgemeine Elektricitats-Gesellschaft (A.E.G).
In 1967 Telefunken were merged with AEG and the company renamed AEG-Telefunken.
In 1985 the Telefunken name was dropped. The Telefunken name is one we associate with rare and valuable valves which are some of the best sounding valves ever made.
Telefunken 6080W is a great choice for all audio applications as the sound quality is excellent.These Telefunken 6080W black plate valve that is a special quality double triode designed to be shock and vibration resistant. They feature the u shape black anode plate. They were manufactured by GE for Telefunken to military specification and date from the mid 1960's. They come to us in the 32 pcs master Telefunkens with each valve in the original box.
For audio application these valve offer a clear an detailed sound and are very good in the little dot and Croft modified Quad 11 amplifiers.
