Brimar 12BH7 Limited Edition Black Star HT5 upgrade Kit

This Classic upgrade kit covers the Black Star HT5C, HT5R,HT5-RC HT5 210 and HT5 112 head and combos and is designed to provide the ideal combination for those who demand a tight driving rock sound with plenty of rich sustain. It is an effective upgrade over the stock valves for those who want a more authentic rock sound and blues sound with less fizz.

The Harma ECC83 Retro provides a harmonically rich and detailed sound with excellent 3D midrange warmth. This valve has a traditional British voiced sound that has a huge singing sustaining tone when overdriven. The outstanding feature of this valve is its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.

The Brimar 12BH7 is a classic NOS valve that gives the Black Star a rich warm vintage sound that is great for all musical applications. It also sounds great with pedals or clean boost units as this valves sound gets fatter the more you overdrive it.

The Brimar 12BH7 is a new old stock valve that is a excellent choice for those who want early break up.The valve has a rich musical and harmonic clarity which gives the amp a full and punchy clean tone.

Single coil notes are clear and warm with no hint of mush or fuzz. When overdriven, the Brimar tone gets fatter and has a nice warm midrange punch with plenty of bass depth. It has a dynamic creamy and crunchy overdriven tone.

This combination provides the classic British Rock sound which is tight and focused.

This has an earlier breakup and a warmer more rounded tone with less top end when compared to our Philips 12BH7 Kit
