Our Fender full revalve kits are put together after a life time of using and comparing the performance of valves in these amplifiers. The kits offer the best options drawn from original new old stock USA made valves and their modern counterparts. They are designed and put together to provide improved sonic and tonal definition with more clarity out of these legendary amplifiers. Each preamp kit is specially selected for low noise, uniform gain and tonal characteristic. All output valves have been burst tested and matched on anode current and gain.
This full Harma Retro upgrade kit is designed to give you the classic vintage warm sound with plenty of rich sustain The Harma ECC83 Retro outstanding feature is a smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response. So you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows and that classic tight bottom end.
The EL84 Retro has a deep well defined tight bass that produces the classic slam in the bottom end with the bass being deeper and belter defined.
The midrange performance has been tweaked to provide warm clear detail at low volumes with clear articulation and smooth even distortion when the amplifier is cranked.
The valve set produces the ideal combination of warm top end chime with a tight British style bass response with punchy articulate top end sound which doesn't get hard or harsh at pushed hard high volumes.
