The Gold series valves are factory selected for conformity to the valve type’s specification and have gold plate pins.
Many of these valve designs are new designs based on old classic new old stock items.
Special Matched PairsElectro Harmonix 6H30 EB Gold is a gold pin version of Sovtek acclaimed 6H30 EB. Due to the very linear response of this valve it has become the first choice for signal valves in high end audio applications.
This gold pin version of the 6H30 EB uses upgraded materials and offers longer life and improved performance over the standard item Russian 6H30 Pi. These valves have been factory selected for close conformity to specifications.
We offer these in Specially Selected Balanced triode sections in matched pairs use in High grade Compressors and Audio Phono and Pre Stages.
All balanced and matched preamp valves are Dynamically Drive tested under real working condition and are matched on dB gain. They also have passed the following tests:
