Sylvania Electric Products Inc. based in Emporium, Pa was an American manufacturer electrical equipment and vacuum tubes In 1942 the company changed its name to Sylvania Electric Products Inc. In the early 1980s was Sylvania sold to Philips and the Philips ECG valves were produced in the Emporium plant until it closed
Original Sylvania 6U10 Compactron Made in USA. This valve is a Triple Triode which contains two medium-mu triodes and one high-mu triode.The Sylvania 6U10 we have supplied for many years due to it long life and reliability.
The valve come in the original box and has Sylvania print in either yellow or red, yellow print item pictured.
This valve was used in the Ampeg jet amplifiers with reverb as well as some other old guitar amplifiers.
