These specially chosen revalve upgrade kits are designed to help you get the best out of your Orange. The Classic kits aim to provide that Mullard/ British Rock sound, Smooth warm crunch with rich harmonics. These are enhanced by combining these with a speaker upgrade to help you get the best out of these classic British amplifiers.
Special Offer 10% DiscountThe Orange AD 5 Classic upgrade kit fitted with a Celestion vintage 10 is designed to provide the ideal combination for those who demand a tight driving rock sound with plenty of rich sustain. It is an effective upgrade over the stock Celestion speaker as it provides a more authentic hard rock sound. This in conjunction with the Harma Retros added warmth makes this an excellent upgrade.
The Harma ECC83 Retro provides a harmonically rich and detailed sound with excellent 3D midrange warmth. This valve has a traditional British voiced sound that has a huge singing sustaining tone when overdriven. The outstanding feature of this valve is its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.
The Harma EL84 Retro has a deep well defined tight bass that produces the classic slam of the Mullard in the bottom end. The midrange performance has been tweaked to provide a warm clear detail at low volumes with clear articulation and smooth even distortion when the amplifier is cranked.
The Celestion Vintage 10 speaker provides immense volume and sustain with very tight bass response. Single note runs are clear ,very punchy and the speaker is rich in harmonics. This is the industry standard rock speaker and the 10 inch version of Celestions vintage 30.
