Many muscians have found that by upgrading the stock eminence/Fender blue back speakers and upgrading the stock valves have improved the sound of their Fender Amplifier.
Many people have found that the Cryo treated valves have helped them find their sonic signature. By upgrading the speaker to a Jensen,Celestion or a Weber VST they have improved the sonic and tonal definition with smoother distortion characteristics of these fine amplifiers. By upgrading the valves to selected Cryo valves they have noticed the additional benefits such as better clarity, larger and improved sound stage with increased reliability.
Here we have listed our most common upgrades giving you the opportunity to enjoy a valve and speaker upgrade at a greatly reduced cost.
The Fender pro junior fitted with a Celestion Vintage 10 is designed to provide a warm punchy sound that when overdriven provides a creamy mid-range and a smooth vintage tone without hardness or top end fizz. The Cryo treated valves give more top end definition with crystal clear treble and more sustain. The Harma EL84 Retro Cryo output valves really come into their own when they are overdriven. The sound fattens and has clear note clarity and gets close to that famous Mullard 3D warmth and mid-range definition. This is the ultimate speaker for the rock/blues player that wants a tight cutting sound.
The Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo outstanding feature of this valve is its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows. The Harma EL84 Retro has a deep well defined tight bass that produces the classic slam of the Mullard in the bottom end. The overdriven tone provides a warm clear detail at low volumes with clear articulation and smooth even distortion when the amplifier is cranked.
The Celestion Greenback 10 speaker provides a warm creamy midrange tight bass response. The speaker has a smooth vintage treble response with nice clarity on chords and single notes. In overdriven mode it provides a warm creamy midrange which makes it ideal for rock and blues as well as modern styles of music.
