These are specially selected Cryo preamp/front end sets for Cornford amplifier owners. The sets consist of specially position selected pre amp valves that have been selected for each position in your Cornford amplifier. Valves are chosen from current production as well as highly sought after new old stock valves and have be Cryo treated to give the best results.
Standard gain kits aim to give a warm and fat overdrive with a High gain option to give you maximum overdrive, early break up with the lowest noise.
Our Vintage kit provides owners with a valve with a fat midrange tone like the vintage UK Mullard ECC83 with the sparkling highs of the American General Electric 12AX7WA

Early Break up
Harma 7025 Cryo 3 Valve pre amp kit is specially selected for Cornford Amplifiers and uses a set of Cryo treated Harma 7025 to replace the 12AX7 throughout. It covers all Cornford Models that have a 3 valve pre amp section with a balanced valve for the phase inverter position.
These include the Roadhouse 30, Roadhouse 50 and the Carrera with a 3 valve pre amp section
The Harma 7025 Cryo the perfect valve to upgrade any ECC83 12AX7 type where clarity and gain are the main requirements.
The cryogenic process gives the 7025 exceptional note clarity with improved high end resolution in clean mode giving the top end a more open sparkling vibrant sound. When pushed into distortion you get more punch and bite from your riffs and solos with greater transparency under distortion.
The overall sound is tighter and more focused which has resulted in the Harma 7025 being our most popular ECC83 upgrades
