We have a range of high quality valve sockets for replacement in Vintage and modern amplifiers. We have a small stock of original Mcmurdo valves bases as well as the very high quality Belton bases.
All are chassis mount unless stated.
8 Pin Octal Belton VT8-PT with Long legs is a very high quality Micalex valve socket for PC mounting.This also makes a great socket for those of you who wish to make octal valve socket adaptors or probes.
Belton bases are made from Micalex which is a plastic mica filled base which is heat resistant.Micalex is an insulating material which allows high voltage operation. These are the choice of many high end amplifier manufactures.
This is ideal replacement in all vintage and modern amplifiers that use octal types such as 6V6GT, 6L6GC, EL34, KT66.KT88 Etc.
