These are specially selected preamp/front end sets for Mesa Boogie owners. The sets consist of specially position selected pre amp valves that have been selected for each position in your Mesa.

We have 4 kits such as Low gain, This to give the maximum clean headroom, Standard gain, to give a warm and fat overdrive and Hi gain to give you maximum over drive with the lowest noise. Our 4 th Kit, called the Classic provides boogie owners with a valve close in tone to the vintage Mullard ECC83. So you can the best set to suit your playing style.

These Cryogenically treated valves are tested and selected to give the best sonic performance out of your Mesa Boogie amplifier.
This Classic Cryo upgrade Kit is for the Mesa Triple Rectifier 2 and 3 channel amplifiers and
consists of Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo pre amp valves which have been selected specially for your Mesa boogie amplifier.

This set has been designed to give your Mesa that classic warm vintage tone in clean mode with rich punchy distortion that many players require out of their Mesa amplifiers when cranked. The outstanding feature of the Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo is how it distorts in the Mesa pre amp circuit.

The Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo valve offers more harmonic warmth with more transparency in the midrange than 12AX7 Mesa valves. The Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo has a smooth linear midrange response and clarity under overdriven conditions with very little compression with a large open distortion. So you get smooth warm singing overdrive with tight fat punchy lows. The distortion is harmonically rich and produces a huge sustaining tone.

The Cryo valve set gives improvements in the clarity of the distortion by removing the mush and muddiness when the valve is saturated; it provides a tighter bass and clearer top end frequency response. These outstanding features of this valve give your boogie crunch without the noise and hiss. So for these reasons the Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo has become our most popular pre amp valve for Mesa amplifiers.
