Sylvania Electric Products Inc. based in Emporium, Pa was an American manufacturer electrical equipment and vacuum tubes In 1942 the company changed its name to Sylvania Electric Products Inc. In the early 1980s was Sylvania sold to Philips and the Philips ECG valves were produced in the Emporium plant until it closed
The 6350 is a very high quality dual-triode and it was a special version of a 12BH7A with a different pin configuration. It was designed for high-speed digital computers and was used in American military equipment.Manufactured using very high quality materials under rigid controls and a factory testing programme. It is commonly found in Manley studio equipment and VTL.
The best sounding 6350 are The Sylvania items. These have the black anode plate with copper grid rods with green lettering.
Please note that the 6350 has a different pin out to the 12BH7A. So cannot be used as a substitute. If your unit uses a 6350 then only the 6350 can be used in this circuit.
