We have a range of high quality valve sockets for replacement in Vintage and modern amplifiers. We have a small stock of original Mcmurdo valves bases as well as the very high quality Belton bases.
All are chassis mount unless stated.
8 Pin Octal Celanex valve socket chassis mount base is a very high quality black base for chassis mounting in vintage Fender amplifiers that need a 1 1/16 inch hole diameter.The bases are made from Phenolic and are.
ideal replacement in all vintage and modern amplifiers that use octal types such as 6V6GT, 6L6GC, EL34, KT66.KT88 Etc.
Manufactures spec
Hole diameter- 1 inch
Mounting centre - 1 1/2 inches
We have be informed that the base measures 1 1/16 inchs
Please note that on certain Fender silverface models the hole diameter is just under 1 inch.
Therefore the hole will need to be made slightly wider to fit the new base.
