One of the most famous American Valve manufactures of all time. RCA was responsible for designing and manufacturing many important valves such is the 6V6GT, 6L6GC, 7027a and the super EL84 known as 7189. RCA also pioneered many advances in manufacture such as the black plate coating and had a hand in helping GEC make the famous KT66.
One Matched Quad Only

The 7027A was developed by RCA in the famous Harrison plant in America. In effect it was a higher powered 6L6GC type with a different pin configuration. RCA felt that with this valve and its higher capacity it would rule the day.

In reality it was only used by a few companies due to its higher cost. Ampeg was one company that used the RCA and for deep smooth pumping V4B bass or those Ampeg portaflex that were used on the famous recording sessions. Indeed over the years the RCA 7027A has become the DADDY of All the 7027A Types.

We have these original RCA 7027A comes in the original USA government box and have been thought tested and matched by us. The print is the glass and has worn a little due to testing. The RCA is the best and fullest sounding 7027A of them all and my vintage V4B has never sounded so good.
