The 5Z3 is a high power rectifier capable of 100 Watts of output power. These were found in small radio transmitters and high power audio amplifiers.

These 5Z3 are the shouldered shape envelope with the black anode plate and are direct from government sources and made in the USA.

This full way rectifier uses a UX-Base 4 Pin base which is different from the Chinese 5Z3P. Some are branded Tungsram UK and dated code is from 1977.
