The Sovtek Corporation produces a range of the most popular audio and guitar valves.
These valves are made in Russia to high standards at the reflector plant.
These valves are used by original equipment manufactures the world over for their sound quality and reliability.
The Original Sovtek EL34WXT which was a remake of the famous German made Siemens EL34. The reflector factory had the blueprints of the Siemens EL34 and made this now classic EL34.The favourite EL34 of many manufacture such as Marshall and Mesa Boogie due the high gain, early breakup an attack of the valve when overdriven.
The EL34WXT has a more punch and bite tightly focused and a cutting top end. it has a fatter midrange and earlier Sovtek item with an early crunchy breakup that gives Solo lines an aggressive top end bite. This makes this a great choice for classic British rock and is an ideal choice for Marshall Style amps.
Please note Sovtek valves from this era were never straight. These are exactly like that and are not straight. So if you are a person that want perfectly straight valves then do not buy these. If you want great sounding EL34 then you cannot buy cheaper than these.
