Original British Made Mullard IEC EL84 that is the holy grail of tone and the true reference for all EL84 types .
These EL84 are marked Mullard IEC, International Electronic components was Mullard North American Distributor. They would dual mark the valves they sold in the USA.
These have the Mullard IEC Logo with EL84 in white lettering on the valve and the Mullard code on the glass B confirming Blackburn production.
Theses valves have all the desirable feature such as copper support rods single halo getter, round centre anode hole and ribbed stapled plates.
Due to our burn in and testing process The white lettering has slightly browned this is common on valves of this age. This means that we can offer these in matched pairs and quad.
It is the sound quality of this valve that has made the Mullard EL84 the most sought after EL84 amongst musicians and Audiophiles.
It has a clarity that has not been matched by any other EL84. It has superb definition with plenty of deep musical bass. It has a transparent and warm midband .The rich musical clarity even under full distortion.
