Orange amplifiers provide the classic Britsh valve amp sound.Since 1968 Orange designs have been very effective as they do not clutter the signal path with gimmicks they simply build amplifiers that are correctly designed and made.

These specially chosen full Cryo revalve upgrade kits are designed to help you get the best out of your Orange. The Retro kits aim to provide that Mullard/ British Rock sound, Smooth warm crunch with rich harmonics and the classic Mullard 3d midrange tone with all the benefits of Cryo treatment.

Orange amplifiers are made without compromise, so we do not compromise on the valves. We do not use cheaper brands or valves from factories that provide inconsistant product. We select these valves and supply these in special sets for Orange Owners.
JJ valves a renowned around the world for their superb sound quality. By Cryo treating the JJ valves the cryo process transforms a good sounding valve into a great sounding item. The Cryo treatment makes this the best sounding version of JJ valves available today

The cryogenic process gives the JJ a smoother richer tone resulting in the imaging having more focus and bite. The JJ now has a warmer sound which is a clear and has better high end resolution. It has exceptional note clarity with improved definition in clean mode greater Transparency under distortion.

The Cryo treatment enhances the overall performance of this valve by providing deeper more controlled bass with added depth and weight. It provides extended clarity in the high end and upper midrange. The extended clarity in the high end and upper midrange is an excellent addition in clean playing situations.

In overdriven mode the JJ EL84 Cryo is very easy to overdrive providing a warm and natural distortion with a little compression. The Cryo treatment enhances the EL84 valves overload characteristic which results in a harmonically rich lead guitar sound which is fatter and tighter with a great singing natural sustain when the valve is pushed into distortion.

These features are simply not available in the standard untreated version of the JJ valves
