Vic Keary credentials are the best in the business as not only has he mixed, produced and engineered but also he designed the equipment that was used on countless hit records in his days at Lansdowne, Chalk Farm Studios & Chiswick Reach. Jon Bailes is an expert designer in the electronic manufacturing industry.
Our valve revalve kits use only the highest grade new old stock valves and the best of the modern made valves. We have put these kits together to allow easy ordering for our studio customers.

The Mullard M8100 is the valve that comes standard in this unit and has very low noise and excellent midrange warmth. This kit also uses the standard 5963 Philips in the output stage.
The difference is in the distortion or enhancer valve and here we use a special quality General Electric military 5725W 6AS6W for its unique distortion characteristics. The GE item is what many professional customers have told us is the best valve sounding valve for this unit hence why we use it in all our Kits
This is still the only studio unit dedicated to just adding valve produced harmonic distortion to the sound. Users have told us that the GE is the best valve for this unit due to its distorted characteristics hence why it features in all our kits. Audio professionals the world over have acknowledged the Culture Vulture as the best unit for adding a unique tube driven harmonic distortion.
