In 1967 AEG joined with her subsidiary Telefunken AG creating Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft AEG-Telefunken
and manufactuer of some of the worlds finest valves.
AEG 6AQ5W 6005 sort after long black plate anode version made at Telefunkens ULM factory in the late 1980s.This item is the high quality 6005 6AQ5W black plate 3 ribbed round anode design. This is the most sought after 6AQ5 type.
Our 3rd picture shows the AEG with the Telefunken detailing it is the 6005.
AEG was the company that formed out of the demise of Telefunken. It carried on producing valves for a number of years under the AEG brand name.
This excellent sounding audio valve is also great in guitar amplifiers as when it is pushed into distortion it has a smooth fat distorted tone. Item is printed 6AQ5 EL90 but is W version and comes in the original AEG box
