We have a range of high quality valve sockets for replacement in Vintage and modern amplifiers. We have a small stock of original Mcmurdo valves bases as well as the very high quality Belton bases.
All are chassis mount unless stated.
This kit consist of a Nos chassis mount brown 8 pin octal valve socket which you can individually wire and a full 8 pin black valve plug.The Nos Octal Valve base is numbered 1 to 8 and has two hole eyelet tags which are slightly moveable for ease of soldering. The Octal Base has no fixing mounting plate and the Nos chassis mount octal valve base fits perfectly inside the octal plug.
These are ideal if you want to make socket savers, dissimilar socket converters such as 7027a to 6L6C or bias probes.
This kit is not ready made and will require someone with the technical ability to solder and read a valve data sheet for making your own required socket savers
The kit consists of 2 parts
1 x 8 pin Octal NOS Brown Chassis mount Valve Socket
1 x 8 pin Octal Valve Plug.
