The Harma 12AX7WA Vintage and Groove Tube EL34M upgrade kit has been designed to give you an outstanding clean sound with a fat midband crunchiness under overdriven conditions without going thin and mushy especially when pedals are used to overdrive your amplifier.

The Harma 12AX7WA Vintage has been specially designed by the factory to recreate the two most vital elements of classic valve sound. The famous Mullard mid band and the outstanding top end clarity of the General Electric.

The valves late break up design allows your pre amp to be cleaner which in turn does not drive your output valves as hard allowing you to get that power amp distortion more naturally resulting in more of your amps tone.

Sonically, the Harma 12AX7WA Vintage has plenty of definition with a clear open top end chime whether played in clean or overdriven mode. The factory enhanced midband replicates the vintage Mullard producing as warm and thick mid sound with excellent note the definition.

The master stroke is that the Harma 12AX7WA does not go thin and fizzy or harden in the midland when driven with pedals. it retains the sparkle and chime and gives the overdriven sound fatness and smoothness without being brittle or hard.

If we are talking master strokes then the Groove Tube EL34 Mullard is certainly one. Aspen and his team in trying to recreate the Mullard EL34 XF2 valve created a truly unique sounding valve.

The original Mullard EL34 defined the sound of rock music and the GT EL34M recreates the classic original sound. The GT EL34M has the originals pronounced mid-range punch, tight low end slam with smooth the top end break up that gets warm and crunchy when pushed hard. The GT EL34M has the most wonderfully rounded midrange sound with a silky smooth harmonic distortion

The GT EL34M handles drive pedals exceptionally well and when you boost the signal the valve has a nice crunchy break up, the midrange is rich in harmonics with unrivalled clarity. it is very touch responsive, think of Gary Moore tone on still got the blues and that sound and sonic clarity is what the Groove Tube EL34 Mullard excels at.
