The Harma 12AX7WA Vintage and Rec Relic KT66 upgrade kit has been designed to give you to give you the classic Clapton rock sound that he used in his days with John Myall.

The set delivers outstanding clean sound with a fat midband crunchiness under overdriven conditions without going thin and mushy especially when pedals are used to overdrive your amplifier.

The Harma 12AX7WA Vintage has been specially designed by the factory to recreate the two most vital elements of classic valve sound. The famous Mullard mid band and the outstanding top end clarity of the General Electric.

The valves late break up design allows your pre amp to be cleaner which in turn does not drive your output valves as hard allowing you to get that power amp distortion more naturally resulting in more of your amps tone.

Sonically, the Harma 12AX7WA Vintage has plenty of definition with a clear open top end chime whether played in clean or overdriven mode. The factory enhanced midband replicates the vintage Mullard producing as warm and thick mid sound with excellent note the definition.

The master stroke is that the Harma 12AX7WA does not go thin and fizzy or harden in the midland when driven with pedals. it retains the sparkle and chime and gives the overdriven sound fatness and smoothness without being brittle or hard.

The REC KT66 Relic is a meticulous recreation of the famous GEC Osram KT66 and follows the original military specification KT66/CV1075.

The original British made KT66 defined the sound of the British blues boom and its tone become legendary in Clapton sound on the Bluesbreaker debut album aka the Beano album6 The REC Relic KT66 recreates the classic original sound. The Relic KT66 has the originals fat mid-range punch, tight bottom end slam with biting top end break up that gets warm and crunchy when pushed hard. The Relic KT66 has the most wonderfully rounded midrange sound with a crunchy harmonic distortion

The Relic KT66 handles drive pedals exceptionally well and when you boost the signal the valve has a nice crunchy break up, the midrange is rich in harmonics with unrivalled clarity. The trick of this set is that the late preamp break gives you more of the classic KT66 Killer Tone These are simply the right valves to power this remarkable amplifier and takes the sound back to its sonic roots.
