Mike Fuller started Fulltone in 1991 while working as a session guitarist. Fulltone pedals were born out of a love for music, great gear, great tone, and a desire to make bullet-proof products. The OCD is still the go to pedal and as Don Felder of the Eagles said- I love the Fulltone OCD pedal and use it in EVERY pedal board I own
If you want the ultimate Fulltone OCD that gives more definition, more tube-like feel, a bit wider dynamic range, more sustain. Then OCD fitted with Dual Ge Germanium diodes is the way to go.

Since its introduction in 2004, the Fulltone OCD Obsessive Compulsive Drive pedal has been the go to overdrive and has become one of the world's biggest selling overdrive pedals.
The earliest OCDs used 2 x Mosfets plus 1 x Germanium diode sadly these became harder and harder to find an was therefore dropped from the OCD

On finding some more of these Germanium diodes Mike decided to make a Custom Shop OCD.

Offering a few circuits tweaks using 2 x Mosfets plus 2 x Germanium diodes.
The result is simply more of all the good things, more clarity, feel and a more focused single-note bite. The Pedal is finished in a beautiful custom shop paint job of Teal over a chrome undercoat.
