Mike Fuller started Fulltone in 1991 while working as a session guitarist. Fulltone pedals were born out of a love for music, great gear, great tone, and a desire to make bullet-proof products. The OCD is still the go to pedal and as Don Felder of the Eagles said- I love the Fulltone OCD pedal and use it in EVERY pedal board I own
The Fulltone Full Drive 1 was made in response the players demand for a smaller unit that retains the sound of the famous Fulltone Full Drive 2.

Fulltone Full Drive 1 is simply the FD2 minus the boost channel. It includes the original Comp Cut voicing as well the Flat Mids and Vintage modes used in later models all via a the 3 way toggle switch. It also retains the classic 808 Style JRC4558 IC, True-Bypass switching, and 9-18 volt operation

1-Comp-Cut removes clipping diodes for clean headroom but it allows it to distort the opamp.
2-Flat Mids a signature Fulltone invention that feeds signal back on to the clipping diodes removing the mid-hump for a nice flat EQ for a more natural, transparent sound .
3-Vintage classic tube screamer sound with a slight mid hump

The demand for a late 1990s Full Drive II is huge and prices extremely high on the second hand market so here is a revised smaller pedal board friendly Full Drive at a remarkable low price.
