Bugera V55 Infinium Classic 6L6GC Retro Full Upgrade kit is designed to give you vintage warmth combined with a crunchy more biting modern edge to your sound.
The Harma ECC83 Retros outstanding feature is that it replicates the warm detail and harmonically rich midrange that made the Mullard sound so famous. Its smooth linear midrange response and extended frequency response so you get smooth warm overdrive with tight fat punchy lows.
The Harma 6L6GC Retro is a re issue of the famous Sylvania STR 387. It features the same anode plate design with internal bracing and has extra thick mica spacers with steel spacers which reduces vibrations, rattle and microphonics which is a problem with many modern 6L6GC.
The valve is designed to break up later than many 6L6GC on the market in order to give that big clean sound. The treble is clear and smooth and has a nice chime when used for that Fender style clean and close to the old USA made Philips Sylvania musical sound
In overdriven mode the Harma has a smooth and fat sound in the mid and top end range and will break later than many others. The main difference of the Harma 6L6GC Retro is that the treble response is wider with more top end chime when distorted. This gives the amp a fatter more American sound that some customers prefer as is gives that big traditional crunchy soundstage with a little more edge.
