Laney make some very fine sounding amplifiers.The stock speaker in most of the early amplifiers was their own H/H invader. This speaker range, to put it politely never enhanced the amplifiers sound quality. We have a included the most popular upgrades of valves and speakers that we have made to Laneys over the past 10 years.
This little amp can really sound great either for home recording or when miked up for club use. The vintage 30 greatly increases the volume and the clarity of this great rock amp.
The Vintage 30 has a tight and responsive note definition, with masses of volume and sustain. Tight bass, fat mids and a smooth, harmonically rich top end have made the Celestion Vintage 30 the first choice for many professional modern rock guitarists.

Our Harma upgrade kits consist of a specially selected set of Harma ECC83 STR preamp valves combined with selected and matched set of Harma output valves. All preamp valves in our kits are specially drive tested and the output valves are burnt in and dual matched on current and output gain.

Our Harma STR E84L full upgrade kit is designed to give you the best clean sound with the maximum headroom and that warm musical chime. This is the special burst tested version of the E84L that is tested on the rig built for Brian May for the ultimate reliability.

The Harma ECC83 STR is used for its the sparkling clean sounds and its very transparent midrange. The E84L produces the maximum clean headroom out of any current made EL84 valves. It provides a deep clear bass response, clear mids and smooth highs. When pushed into distortion the valve produces a rich warm overdrive sound. These characteristics make this our most popular EL84 in the Laney amplifiers.
